Push the button, brother horse. It looks a little like a bottle cap, if that helps?
Happy 2006!

Congrats on your new TV. Now to find programming in HiDef!
As to turning it on - bear-music may not be right. I got a tivo/dvd burner and it has no on/off button. It's always on! Freaky.

Yeah, my DVD player's like that, but these don't have a screen drinking juice. As far as I know, ALL teevees have an off switch, though I suppose some may not have a manual one and require the use of the remote :-) In that case, gawd help Brother Horse, 'cuz when he gets into the whiskey who knows what may happen to his remote?

| Hi Def is coming 2006 is the year where all the broadcaster are suppose to start broadcasting in HD. They have been using HD cameras for a number of years now just haven't been broadcasting. SD will be around for along time still, all our old fav (reruns) will still be in old SD it get expensive to go back and upgrade all that old stuff, but give it a couple more years and everything will be HD. Hell the frist Prosumer true HD camera just came out its going to make waves and I'm buying myself one HVX-200. Anyways enjoy your TV I just got my 20inch regual TV I'm jelous |

I think I need another collage education in order to make this darn thing work.
The remote has so many buttons on it, I have to actually be carful what I push. I think I opened my neighbors garage door.
But, anyhow, HD is right around the corner. I have worked on many shows where HD is involved.

1. "Another" college education? You have a degree in whiskey, Brother Horse?
2. Of COURSE you opened the neighbor's garage door, you are using the remote in "carful" mode. Switch to "careful" mode and it will protect you instead of expose you.
Happy new year, brother!
