Now now, was that really necessary? There is no need for unsolicited negative comments about a country that many members (admittedly not all) hold very near and dear to their heart. |

That was REALLY uncalled for...not sure why you had to bring that very negative comment into a nice suggestion! (edit to point i'm talking to DanSig not the other two)

Just a reminder that this is a Challenge Suggestion thread, not a Rant thread, so please keep the posts on topic and non-imflamatory...

		| I love challenges that pose limitations. Stripes would be a decent one - and since the flag can sometimes be a trite topic that might actually be a decent way to force creativity. Further, I wonder how a topic of "stars and stripes" would look ... probably won't happen since this is rightly an international web-site. I am the last person to wave the flag, but again, I love limiting challenges. |

As it's already been mentioned, the American flag would be a legitimate entry for the challenge. The key would be to do something creative with it (no burning allowed ;o), I thinks that's illegal anyway) and not just enter it for the sake of entering.

Stripes would be an interesting challenge as there are a lot of things in nature that resemble stripes as well as some obvious choices. |

Thanks guys, I really like the idea or everyone exploring stripes in any way, but especially in nature, as there is so many natural stripes to be found everywhere. Lets hope "STRIPES" becomes a challenge topic, as I for one would love to see how everyone intereprets it......I look forward to your comments.
