Can't do a perspective correction without making a selection first. In any case, a perspective correction involves actually moving pixels within the image, and that's not allowed in basic.

So using Photo Shop Distort and then lens corrections straighten verticle lines when using a wide angle lens is not allowed? With this there is no selection made and the entire photo is used. |
I donno about CS2 'shop, but in PS 7 you can't use the perspective adjustment unless you first select the entire image. In any case, SC has consistently said these adjustments are not allowed in basic so...

All postprocessing operations allowed in Basic require that the entire image be selected, so nothing is different for perspective adjustment. That is the default. In PS Elements, perspective adjustment doesn't require any selection being made.

PS CS2 perspective correction also does not require anything to be selected, just have the pic up and go to distort and lens correction. The entire pic is adjusted not just a selected part.
