I only have the usual bundle that came with my 300D, but I managed to download and install DPP ok. I suspect it looks for Canon related software before it will install?
Mike

From the download site.
2. Please make sure that at least one of the following applications is installed in your computer before downloading Digital Photo Professional 2.0.3 Updater for Mac OS X.
- File Viewer Utility 1.1 - 1.3
- EOS Viewer Utility 1.0 - 1.2
- Digital Photo Professional 1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6.0/1.6.1/2.0.1
- RAW Image Task 1.2/2.0/2.2
Please note that if none of the above applications has been activated and Security Updates have been applied to your operating system, it may not be possible to install Digital Photo Professional 2.0.3, depending on the version of the Security Update.
Downloading and installing one of the above applications should then get you going. At least it's worth a try. |

Not lame. YOu get any canon camera and you get teh software free. Buy a Nikon and and the program for working with RAW files is $99 more.
I don't really understand your problem - your CD died? What happened to the installed programs, or did you never install them?
email canon about your dead CD and see what they say.

When I came home for xmas I placed the CD for the programs under my camera and I had forgoten that I had left my tripod mount on the camera so once I closed my pelcin case the squeeze went down on the cd and it no long is redable by any cd drive.
I have already emailed canon and they haven't returned my message I should propaly start hrassing them but I do go home soon so I'm not to worried about that now but I do need to order a new cd so I never have to go through this painful situtation again. Thanks for all the help guys much appreciated even though we where unsuccesful.
I just find it silly that canon give people who have purchased there equipment no way of getting there hands on the tools that are needed in a timly fashion, I would of given them my serial number if needed be. But that is just my beef with canon.
Thanks again for all the help! |
