I cannot for the life of me extract the girl from the background on this photo...can someone please show me how??? I've looked up like 3 different ways to do it and I can't make any of them work...can someone see if they can do it successfully and tell me how you did it? Thanks so much!!

A color version might be a bit easier to extract. What post-production software are you using?

A color original would be lots easier to do. this has flaws, but it is just a matter of time to clean teh edges up. the hard part is always hair, and hers is not too bad (wild) to work with.

For screen display it's easy, for 4x6 or so prints it's easy. If you are after an 8x10 then you're gonna be working at this for a good while.
