Is there anything I can get to show that I am a photographer (u.k) like government I.D I think in the u.s you can get press credentials for freelance photography from the police is there anything like that here?

*edit reply to posts: I have seen in forum someone said they did this not sure if it was in u.s tho note "think"

We don't have such an ID in the US. When I'm shooting, I ALWAYS have a few of my business cards with me. They have saved me a few times already when people start asking questions.

You can join a respected organization they will have a membership card. I was a member of ASMP for several years. The membership card had it's advantages.
