And all the comments are good. This is my third challenge and it seems I am gaining 0.7 every time. Hope it will hold!

With this very first challenge submission I'm getting closer and closer to my aim and I'm happy with that. The shot has 0 favs and is on 0 wishlists but it's just fine. Have 134 votes and I like it, thank you all who voted!
(No, I won't post my score here.) |

| I just finished voting on this challenge (did not enter) and I cannot believe the HIGH percentage of shots that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the challenge except that the word OOPS appears in the title. Very disappointing for a challenge that had so many possibilities and opportunities to be creative. |

It feels good to be above 6 again (even if it's barely above.) I was pleased with one aspect of the shot, but not the other. I spent much of the week trying to decide if I'd pull it, then the server went down and the decision was made. Thank you, server.
Thanks so far, and keep voting high. (BTW, I predicted either a 4.75 or a 5.9, depending on which aspect the voters found dominant.) |

What a crappy score for a perfectly composed picture. Perhaps I titled it wrong.

[edit: my current results]
But reading through scores (for the first time, to be frank) I found that it's usual. Why doesn't people vote, is it a trouble to click the number instead of "Back"? For the lower quality pictures it's more reasonable but above 5.5?! Even if they click based only on the infamous "immediate wow factor", isn't it nicer to tell how you feel about the shot? I'm not talking about commenting what takes time, I'm just talking about positioning the cursor before the goodbye-click.

I quite enjoyed voting on this challenge. But then I am not one of the DNMTC crowd ;)
Only two 3s and two 4s, loads of 7s. I didn't read many of the titles which probably explains a lot.

Has anyone else noticed when reviewing the Ooops final results how incredibly low the scoring was?
The winning image barely made 7 at 7.035, the red ribbon 6.786 and by the time you get to 5th and an honourable mention we're at 6.3.
Has there been a lower-scoring challenge? What is the reason?

It wasn't low enough for me. I missed my aim by 0.215 (up, this should by emphasized), and I don't understand why. Maybe because of those who vote sighing "I'll give him a mediocre score because I don't want to comment my 1-2-3". I received 63 5's and even 11 6's for a shot I wanted to PP to crap! (Plus 2-3 7's, 8's and 10's but I don't argue about it because I know there are visitors in every challenge coming only to ruin voting.)
About the average: many photos in this run have nothing to do with Oops, this has been discussed. This gives a bad feeling to a voter (like me, at least) and she/he can get rid of this feeling even when sees a fitting image after 10s of unfitting. So even the good shot gets lower score.
All above "IMO", of course. |

yeah it was a very poor challenge in my opinion. oops1 was better. Oh and if someone gets a honorable mention, whatever the score is it is an honorable mention.
