Well, I've officially completed 50 challenges. Here's the breakdown:

My First 25 Challenges
Avg score: 5.36656
Avg place: 84
Ribbons: 0
Favorites: 15

My Second 25 Challenges
Avg score: 5.73412
Avg place: 73
Ribbons: 2
Favorites: 44

Not a remarkable improvement, but definitely improving. I am still consistently inconsistent however.... must stop those last minute entries! lol

Good job Cindi!

I really needed to check out my own as I have felt crummy about my images lately thinking I had not improved hardly at all this past year. Well, I have entered 35 challenges, not counting the one I'm bombing in right now. The first 17 I averaged 4.525. The last 16 I have averaged 5.944. So, I guess I'm doing better than I thought. Still, I'm just a rank (or should that be reeking) amateur.

Hanneke, look on your profile page where all of the statistics are... you can copy that entire section to an Excel spreadsheet and do the math to get averages there.

way to cindi, you've improved nearly 1/2 a point - I'd say that is significant!! Add in the more faves and oh, the occassional ribbon - I'd say very well done!

I'm deproving but haven't entered enough challenges to quantify my deprovement :=

Somehow I have never been able to get this right. I need some basic "How to use Excel" course :(

10 Step guide to importing things in Excel (This is the general way of importing anything in Excel)

1) Goto your profile page
2) Click on Show ALL (under your Challenge Entries)
3) Select and Copy (Ctrl+C) all the Entries
4) Paste it in Notepad
5) Save the file as "temp.xls"
6) Run Excel and open the file temp.xls
7) The program should start up with "Text Import Wizard"
8) Click Next, Next and Finish (if you know you have some other delimiters other than Tab, select it)
9) Resize the columns to see the text completely
10) Save the file, Voila!! now do all the math you want to do

For people like me who are starting up on this website its great to see these stats .. keeps me going :)

Avg score: 6.4327

Ribbons: 6
Favorites: 170

Most recent 25 Challenges
Avg score: 6.385
Avg place: 33
Ribbons: 6
Favorites: 372

I had a couple of stinkers (4.5 and 5.1) that screwed up my average in the most recent group, but the favorites are WAY up. :-)

25 to 50 = 5.235
50 to 72 = 5.639
