I saw a special last nite on tv. A woman in Egypt had a pregancy wherein one baby was born single and normal, and another baby was born with a parasitic twin attached to its head. The parasitic baby had its own brain and a stump of a body (no lungs or heart of her own) just a spine and some ribs (no limbs either) and the baby could smile and blink and show emotion. An amazing story. They did seperate the babies and the twin with the body lived, but it was determined she did suffer some brain damage in the surgery because she stopped smiling. The one thing I didn't like is that they didn't seem to cloth or drape the parasitic twin...made me wonder if she ever got cold.
