| I would like to look at cameras for a 10-year-old girl? The camera needs to be inexpensive and sturdy. Suggestions? |

| Kodak C300 is what I'm reccomending this holiday season. 3.2 MP, AA batteries, and most retailers have it for around $100. |

| Get one that does video and has sound. My 7 year old shoots more video that singles and has lots of fun. My 11 year old's doesn't have sound on her older model and now nags me about his being better. But definitely video capibilities. Van |

| I started out with a Kodak 3700. I'm not sure what model is out there now. This worked well for me beacause it had a docking station and made it easy to upload. Also, HP has a pretty nice package including a small printer. Very easy and does a great job. Good luck! |

Depends on you and the kids I suppose. lol My 12 y/o shoots with a 300D and my 9 y/o shoots an Oly C720. The 5 y/o got a $50 Eye-Q though. ;)
(Just depends - but I don't like the Kodak sensors myself. I'd look at the lower level 3MP canons.)

| I have found that the Kodak EZShares work well for people just starting out -- not a lot of advanced "features" but a pretty good little camera |

| I bought my 10 yr old the Canon A520 and she just loves it! |
