Out of my four last submissions, three were pictures of SAME flower taken over period of one month. This LUCKY flower gave me average score of more than 6.2! It was more of an experiment where I wanted to explore if shooting style can make the same subject fit for different themes. ..and I guess it worked!
Thanks for your feedback on INDIVIDUAL pictures, but your comments for COLLECTION are awaited :)
... also would this experiment be considered as "ART" or just a way to "manipulate" the picture to fit the theme?

I voted your balck and white a 10 I loved it and was surprised to see it at 23rd.
Dont let one commenter doubt yourself, stick with what you are comfortable with. |

Thanks for your 10-er :) In-fact I'm also surprised to see myself at 23rd position with the score of 6.25!
Anyway, I'm not really doubting my skills (though I know it needs lots of improvement ...and a good equipment!), but just wanted to validate my approach (and shhh...maybe attract more 'encouraging' comments :))

Feedback for all three- they are lovely pictures but some portion of all pictures is burnt out - Tip of 'bud', petals of 'one' and stem of "my last..". Check out your camera settings.

*personal note* - Get flowers before next challenge
Lol...I like all three pictures...lovely work. I think I like the middle one the best though...incidentally the lowest scoring one:P |

...well, you never know what part of my 'dead flower' I might have used for the current challenge ;) {I'll disclose soon}
...and I could see three more rising from the stem this morning:)

Thanks! It's a very honest feedback on 'noticable' flaw :) I think I need to switch from spot metering to ESP. Or...do you have any suggestions?

Though we own a same camera, but I really cannot suggest much. I'm myself a learner. It might even be because of post processing. I could not get much from your comments on postprocessing. |

You might be right. I really am not too comfortable with Photoshop yet.
Anyway, seems like no one else is interested in this forum. I should better be calling it off.
