Went on a leetle shoot with my friend Mimi a couple weeks ago, and here are some of the shots...And other than the fact that the hat is too bright and she never pulled it up far enough to see her eyes, I'd like some comments and critique on them, please. :)
Thanks bunches, everyone!

Nice pictures, all of them. I think I like the first and last ones best - the first has a really cool perspective and the tones look really good. And I just like the last one, the reflection in the glass and the lights behind it make it really interesting. |

I like this one;
But that hat is distracting so low over her eyes. You should try shooting some more without the hat! |

I think you may have overwhelmed many folks b/c there are so many shots. Perhaps if you posted one to three of your favorites.
First, I think it's technically good. I also llike the general composition. I'm not sure about the hat though. It's pulled over the subject face to a point where you can't really see the eyes well. I think being able to see the eyes is very important, unless you are making an artistic point to not show the eyes/catchlight.
I like the fourth one in the silouette the best. Simple strong composition, good dynamic diagonal lines.

I agree with yido - seeing the eyes, imho, is very important. The eyes are the window to the soul...they say so much. I realize some are being artisitic in their own way by covering the eyes, but I really prefer seeing the eyes. The exception to this is when the person is wearing shades to give a feeling of mystery.
I left you comments on a few. I particularly like images 5746, 5682, and 5653.
