I need to submit my DOF entry within the next 4.75 hours, so I need to know:

Is the use of the Image|Adjustments|Photo Filter... option in Photoshop allowed? I'd like to apply a Cooling Filter(80) to my image.

Don't want to get DQ'd.

Thanks

Use of filters outlined in BE rules
These include but are not limited to the Sharpen, Unsharp Mask, and Dust & Scratches filters, and standalone image cleanup utilities such as NeatImage. However, no effects filters may be applied to your image, with the exception of Noise and Gaussian Blur, which are allowed. Any filter permitted by this rule must be applied uniformly to the entire image. Selective application of any filter is prohibited.

So am I to assume that the prohibited filters are only those under the Filters menu? The "filter" I want to use is actually listed as an "adjustment".

Photo filter can be used without a problem. its something like adjusting color balance and if applied on the whole image, its basic editing.

That's my opinion, wait for an SC member to confirm.
