Wanted to commend the Site Council and or Admins for their speedy action in removing some very rude, crude & uncalled for comments on some images a member recently commmented on.
Way to go!  |

I think I know which image Brad is referring to, and I also agree that SC handled the situation very admirably. :)

well, i think this also uncovered a 'bug' in the system where, even though the comments have been removed, the image still remains on the recently commented on page ;-)

The comments made on a few images still on the recently commented on page were rude, crude, downright vulgar, sexual in nature and were quickly removed by the quick action of the SC (Pam?).
To say who it was or even try and attempt to repeat them is not gonna' happen.

I never said witch hunt.
What you did is publicly thank the SC for a "private" act. Since the majority of users here have no idea what comment(s) you're referring to, the result is to pique our curiosity. That is why I asked you why you did this if you had no intention of sharing the gory/titillating/juicy details of the dasterdly deed. You can thank the SC anytime by sending them a kind note...without the rest of us witnessing it.
So, my question was, what purpose did your starting this thread have?

there has been so much vilifying of the SC lately, i think a public thank you is a nice gesture...regardless of whether we all know what it's about or not.

OK, imagine if you will, off-color, downright vulgar, sexually suggestive comments on a number of the nude shots on the recently commented on page. Further elaborating on this has no function.

I know I could, but once in a while, those working behind the scenes, most often, are the subject of negativity. I wanted to flow some positive energy their way for a change and applaud the system in place (report post) that allowed quick action.
A person gets thanked in private.
A person gets thanked publically in front of their peers.
Which has the most effect I ask.
Thank You - I thought so.
I rest my case, and hope this thread can either go forward with ackowledgement that the SC and site/admins works hard behind the scenes and need an applause once in a while, publically.
Now move on folks, nothing else to see here. Show's over. |

well, thanks for the thank yous. it has been a rough week, so that's nice.
and, in order to make up for my rough week, i'm going to use my top secret superduper sc mega x-ray vision to go see what the fuss was about.
muahahahahahahahaha...
i've taken some lumps. it's nice that there's a benefit or two. :P |
