Some do, depends on where in Minnesota. But if your refering to the Fargo movie, that was pushed a tad too far on the accent. But then again I remeber being in south Georgia, and was told "Ya'll talk funny, must be from that Canada." |

To some extent they do, yes. In fact, we all sound like the mother from Bobby's World. ;) But no, I don't sound like that because I grew up on the east coast, not in Minnesota. And I say soda, not pop. |

No, it's Maude. You don't need to know the last name. |

Why, upon our first meeting, did mk punch me in the stomach and then proceed to rob my wallet of its contents? |

Oops, I missed that question. All these answers are hard work!
But Di and Soni are both wrong, throwing things out the window is much awesomer than down the stairs. But not alfresco cuz he's a-ok.
Also, I would totally bring pie to this event. But since one of my side gigs is running chocolate fountains, I frequently have an overabundance of chocolate in the house and if I renege on my policy against meeting internet crazies, you're all invited over to have some. |

Is that like those champagne/punch fountains, but with hot chocolate? That does sound awesome ... |

mk -- am I an internet "crazy" as described in your last post?
and if so, am I so crazy that say, you'd never come to a rodeo with me and some other midwesterners of questionable sanity?

If by hot chocolate you mean melted chocolate and not the beverage, then yes. The chocolate is kept warm and flows through a fountain, similar to a champagne fountain and people dip different foods in it...marshmallows, creme puffs, pretzels, strawberries, etc., etc. |

More like a chocolate fondue ... that sounds even better. Are you allowed to divulge what kind of chocolate you use? |

We use a European coating chocolate called Claussen. Milk chocolate mostly, dark chocolate by request.
