Hi people, Here is my feeble attempt on a sunset.

I like the shot. The palm in the foreground adds to the shot. But the overall image is too noisy. |

Overall, I like it (didn't see the 'noisy' version). The one thing that stands out to me is the grey band of water. I don't know if this was from noise reduction or contrast/curves, etc.. or not. But, if it isn't that way in the original, I would consider masking that off from the processing. Aside from that, it is a nice sunset. Pretty colors, and as previously stated, the palm trees are a nice addition in the foreground (I could even do with more of them). |

The horizon bisects the picture. Generally it's recommended that you emphasize either the sky or the water by including most of that you want to viewer to focus on (e.g. 2/3 of picture to include the sky), following the rule of threes.
Otherwise, I think it's nice.
