My friend and hero Julie Whitt is fighting for her life tonight. Julie underwent a double lung transplant last night. She's had complications all day.

Guys, she's an amazing human being and I'm not ready for her to be called home just yet. If you are at all inclined, please offer up prayers to your diety of choice.
It's a stressful week for me in any event because of the joys of holiday retail. I just so very, very badly want to hear good news on this.
Thanks for listening.

My best wishes go out to her! It makes me wonder why I still smoke when I see people like this struggling! So sad!

| I keep thinking that I'm never going to get the chance to tell her just how much she means to me. I think that's what upsets me most. |

| I'm tired and need to get to bed. I just can't bring myself to go just yet. It's like if I go to sleep tonight...it's silly, but I just can't quite bring myself to go to sleep. |

Your friend Julie Whitt is in my prayers. May she be blessed with a fresh breath of life from her Creator and our Lord God. I pray that as he comforts and heals her he will ease the burden and worry of her family and friends.
God bless each and everyone of you (Julie, the family, and her friends) and I pray for a speedy recovery.

EDIT: I hope you take care of yourself as well. I had to go through the pain of having a best friend fight for his life last year. He stayed in the hospital from April 15, 2004 to January 2005, almost a year. I can tell you it is bad having to watch a friend go through life treating conditions and the ups and downs for a prolonged period of time. Hang in there and pray and offer your full support. BTW my friend is doing great now.

Damn.
Julie was called home today. Her incredible heart finally gave out.
Please keep her husband Matt in your hearts. He's beside himself and completly lost tonight.
Julie touched the lives of thousands of people around the world. Her love, compassion, spark, and sense of humor will be missed. Please take the time to learn a bit about her tonight.

Julie, I promised that if you died, I'd celebrate your life. I will. Just give me tonight to mourn the loss of my friend. I'm going to miss you.
