Have played guitar since early elementary school. First gig was in the 3rd grade at "show and tell". Played Tom Doley and Bogie Wogie. First song wrote in the 8th grade. Performed 2 originals in the High School talent show. Very mixed school, only group to get applause from both the white and black kids. My brother (junior HS) played drums and was really good. He studied under Bill Schaffer. Played a few minor gigs around town. Never got "known".
Current set up is an Ovation Legend, a Concord tube amp (England), and an Alesis SR-16 drum machine. |

| I sang in High School and College, and have been apart of the making of several albums in the process. I play guitar fairly well, and have a rudimentary understanding of the piano, thanks to my music theory classes... |

Yes, just substitute "Trombone" for "Bagpipes" and you have my musical career. Oh, how I loved that instrument. |

I played drums in a punk-emo band for a few years. We put out a couple of albums, were signed to an indy label and toured the country making people scream and shout "shade Seven". I know, you have never heard of us. That is okay. I got a real job offer and had to quit, but I loved the life when it was happening... oh... good times.

Cool--what make/model?
I got started in music when my parents bought a Hammond electric organ when I was 10. Though now I prefer playing these kinds of organs. When I lived in Illinois, I not only use to practice on this particular pipe organ, but I got to climb up and walk around inside it once :-).

I play piano, used to play trumpet and mellophone. Here is my attempt at playing trumpet and piano at the same time : //www.deviantart.com/deviation/20816410/.
Together with my roommates we have a full band (guitar, base, piano & vocals) - we only need a drum player now... |
