Central Park is my favorite spot without question.
Chinatown has some really nice twists and turns.
The Wall Street area and that entire part of Manhattan has many wonderful things to shoot.
Brooklyn, between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge is really cool, nice city and bridge shots plus some tasty old New York.
Wander around Soho, the West and East Village...never know what you'll find.
Look at my portfolio and if you have any specific questions about locations, the city, or anything I'll be more than happy to help you out in any way.
Cheers
BTW Times Square will be absolutely packed to the brim with tourists...almost worth avoiding except to say that you'd been there. My advice...hit it quickly...a surgical strike and then move on.

check out //www.topoftherocknyc.com its the top of the rockeffeller center and u get some awesome shots of the empire state buiding up there. Yep that park by the brooklyn and manhattan bridge is really nice, I live like 10 minute walk from there. Central and prospect park. Brooklyn Promenades you can get nice shots of the skyline there. Times square, soho (near china town) nice little shops and store, restuarants there two.

Over on Stanton Island is the Chinese Scholar's Garden - lots of interesting architecture, waterfalls, etc. |
