Nikon D1X
This camera has almost every adjustment I can think of, It has been a great friend for two years now. (It's two years old).
It includes Nikon Capture 2 software. (For Windows) (amazing program, but it doesn't work with my new camera).
It comes with a battery charger and an extra battery, but they are getting old and will need to be replaced soon.
Also includes the AC adaptor (Good for studio work).
Includes a long firewire cable.
Probably a couple more extras, I just can't think of them right now.
It is far more camera than most people will use. It's in great shape with only about 13000 shots. I just had it cleaned and serviced at Nikon.
Please PM me if you have any questions or would like more information on this.

Whoa. Just looked it up on B&H and a refurb goes for $2700 (which I guess is OK considering it was $6k new). Got excited there for a minute.

Mind if I ask how much you like your D2X compared to the D1X? I love my D1X. |

I love them both. I simply don't have a need for two cameras. The D1X was built for heavy use and has a little more weight to it.
I do like the additional resolution of the D2X, but the majority of my shots print in the 16 x 20 or less sizes. The D1X does quite well within that range.
I think the color is a little more accurate on the D1, but I'm still calibrating things and it might just be a learning curve I need to get through.

Well, go ahead, get excited. :)

Well, I wish I could take even a little bit of the credit for my photography... But I really owe it all to the camera. (The beautiful Nikon D1x camera Extraordinare')
Now that the holiday season is here, I just hope it will find someone to spend the rest of it's life with. A close companion who will cherish their every moment together. Where will I find such a lucky soul? ................. Anyone..... ..... ..... Anyone? ... |
