Hahaha! That made me laugh! Not least of all because when I think of "bears" and "accumulations" at the same time, I think of what they do in the woods, if you catch my drift?

Thanks, Ken. And not to be pushy or anything, but have I given you the shipping address for the Ginsu knives yet?

Robt.

I do. And I'm sure the book is just full of it.

I'm sure it would be on the top sellers list immediately.

It's disappointing to see you still on the forum, Ken. Give her some casterol and take her for a very long walk. ;) Maybe it's waiting to let Santa deliver it on the 25th.

Happy thoughts- DPC rocks!!! I'm a women of few words and even fewer when I haven't finish my first cup of java.

...LOL - I know what you mean. ;-)

Doc said castor oil will only give her diahrea.

I have a new laptop that I am taking to the hospital, so I might still be on the forum during the whole delivery. Just watch for a post topic such as "I can see the head!" or "eeeeeeuuuuwwwww, check this out! comments welcome"

I'd like a copy of that book! ;) make a nice Christmas pressie if you want to know what to send me Ken :)

More ideas if the walking doesn't work.......friend of mine went swimming with the dolphins to try and bring on her labour......didn't work. What did work was when her husband took her 4 wheel driving up and down the top hill paddock.

Something i really like about DPC is that i have yet to recieve a PM from someone who spells my name wrong.
You wouldnt believe how many people in other forums/real life etc can't spell my name, even when it is written right in front of them.

Also very few people here mock how poorly i type.

If I hadn't found DPChallenge, I would never had found the motivation to take so many photos, and would never have improved without constant constructive criticism. I would never have taken photos at Glastonbury for the Guardian, and I wouldn't have taken photos of my all time hero, Steve Vai. I wouldn't now be a photographer, and I wouldn't think about becoming a photojournalist travelling the world.
Thanks DPChallenge!

I'm someone now!!!!

Now I know that I am an inferior photographer and my wife now thinks that I only take pictures for challenges - not for the family --- oh wait, this is the wrong thread :) !

Ok...I give in...in just the few months I have been here my knowledge of photography has increased exponentially. I just wish my scores reflected that. But in a way they do. I have gone from a 4.xxx shooter to a 5.xxx shooter. To me that is a big improvement.

Like Ken/Art, DPC also inspired me to find a woody and after the first was in my grubby little paws, I had to go back and get two more. AND I have just found a place locally that has a wide assortment of woody products.

Mostly though, I have found DPC to be an excellent inspiration and outlet for my imagination and creativity.

Yeah, I should add that I have made valuable contacts and got jobs by people coming across my photos at DPChallenge after Googling.

Discovering DPChallenge just a year ago has reignited my interest in photography and challenged my pocketbook. I'm on my 3rd camera now in less than a year. ;^)

Been at DPC since end of Oct 2005. Since then I have learned more than I could have imagined. I got my camera in August and knew nothing about photography, just that I wanted in. Between Aug and Oct I only took pictures of baseball games and family events. NOW, after being a DPC'er, I know enough to at least produce pictures to be proud of. All thanks to the kind folks at DPC.
Oh and I like the cleanliness of the bathrooms along with the friendliness of the waitstaff.
