| I just wanted to share with the DPC community that this photograph of mine has taken the third place in the Panasonic Batteries Amateur Photographer of the Year 2005 (Spain) contest. Considering that I've been shooting for only a little over one year, and managed to take the third place in my first juried competition, I know I should be elated. Don't get me wrong; I'm really happy about it. However, I was kind of expecting to finish first (No humility whatsoever; I still believe first place should've been mine -Kidding...well, sort of-) and grab that 1-week all-expenses-paid trip to Namibia. Anyway, here is the link to the results page, if anybody is interested to see the winners (Including those from other countries as well). |

Congrats, very nice shot!
Maybe if you would have put a panasonic battery standing up in the foreground, and left it saturated, you'd have taken first?? hehe ;-) |
