CONTEST OVERVIEW
This is a 5 round competition of Photoshop and image enhancement skills where contestants go toe to toe. This is a digital art contest. Each contestant is given an image to work with for a maximum of 24 hours. The image can be manipulated in any manner possible (there are no rules). The only editing rule the contestants must follow is: The image at the beginning of the round must at least be identifiable after editing.

Once edits are completed, the image is posted for voting. Contestants are not allowed to vote on a match-up they are participating in. Only the first 25 votes counts. Voting must be done on the provided voting page to be counted. Once voting begins, the contestants e-mail each other the uncompressed versions of their entry. At the end of voting, the winning image becomes the image to be edited for the next round. The contestant who wins the most rounds wins the competition.

When voting, please do so on the provided page. Votes placed on the image or in this thread will not be counted. This thread is to be used for contest updates, and trash-talking, not voting. The images are being stored in my portfolio and will likely be deleted at some point so any comments placed on the images (although appreciated) will probably be temporary

I have a wife, baby, and job so the contest may experience some delays from time to time. I have tried to organize it in a way that makes it easy for me to update, so I promise I will make every effort to keep things moving.

I will keep the updates in this original post to make it easier for everyone to follow the progress without having to scroll through all of the posts.

OK, go tthe full-size Joey. I'm going to take the day off editing to install light fixtures. And a reminder to everybody that tonight is the Survivor finale. I'll edit one up tomorrow, while I'm at work. I find I do my most high quality goofing off while at work.

Curses on you, Joey. I'll have my revenge!

edit - Oops, I see it is due tonight. OK, I'll grab a coffe and brainstorm one up. I just finished the upstairs bathroom lights, so I deserve a break, damnit!

OK, Joey is MIA so I'm calling this one. Congratulations Slippy. Here was his round 3 entry. Personally I thought it was sheer genius to use another gauntlet entry to even further confuse me.

Oh well, I think Joey's been busy making another film. He wrote me a while back saying something about flashlights, wax paper, & cold weather.

I wrote him this morning before I heard from Palmetto, or saw this thread updated, asking what he's up to. He may be busy with term finals etc., so I feel for him.

Anyhoo, I'll take the win with the asterisk and send my full size (640pix, haha) to him.

EDIT == Oops, my full size is the 640 pixel one here, as I stole it from bearmusic, so it can be used.

Ha ha ha! That was MY idea for the final version of MY image in the ken-battle, had I been able to continue my string. I was gonna bring in both the toddler and the nude :-) It's scary to think that I'm thinking like slippy!
