I have a dvd I need replicated like 500 times. I don't want to spend $900. Any ideas? I don't want to have to replicate them by hand and burn out my dvd+rw. I also need them with our photo on top - lightscribe, silkscreen or professional looking labels.
dpc knows everything! help?

you can get silk-screened blanks and then burn them yourself, but that sounds like a lot of work.
i've had very good luck with CD Solutions (www.cds.com) for projects, but you will have to spend some money. their website is cheesetastic, but the quality of their work is great.
sorry dood. |

Finding a cheap replication shop sounds like the way to go ... you can get a DVD duplicator which will both automatically make a stack of copies and also print them, but those start at around $1500 for ones which will do about 25 at a time.
Seems like your only other choice is burn them one-off and buy an Epson inkjet which can print DVDs (less than $100, but probably a lot for ink). |

I just called an associate who works with a lot of independent music bands/producers, and he recommended PreciseMedia as apparently reliable and affordable. |

I bought a spindle of 100 Fry's house brand on sale ... either $12 or $25 -- either way, not too bad. I think I got some TDK branded ones at Costco for about $40. |

This is a bad idea for a handout. lol
(It worked terribly well the first time tho! But we used the lightscribe and I hand-made the disks.
