geez, is a 5.63 going to be top 20?

Sounds like you might have a ribbon or top 10 elsapo...
I'm a touch bummed, mine just drop to 4.7x, it was around 4.9. I am really hoping it comes back up to to 4.8+ to maintain/improve upon my average.
*lol*
I was hoping for a few more comments (2).

Especially, as I did not see a single other photo anything like mine. *shrug* I like comments, (even bad ones...heck, I learn from those)

Mine too. Just dropped nearly a whole point.
WHOOPS: read the wrong, it dropped by a fraction of a point. I only have ONE comment by the way and it aint all that bad either. It's a wierd challenge this one. LOL....

I was thinking top ten when it was at 6.5 but now i doubt it. My goal was to be above a 6 :) Im going to try and comment on as many as I can though

It took me 2 days on and off to get them all done. Now I have to work on the Holiday challenge. With all this voting and commenting I might not have time for photo challenges LOL

This is what I have to say ... (not near as eloquent as graphicfunk) I work full time and then some as an IT Manager, I have 6 kids, 4 in grade/high school, 2 in college). I thought I worked part time as a photographer (but that has changed drastically lately) and I love entering the challenges because it boosts my creativity. BUT can I do all? Nope!! Can I vote .. YES while I'm eating my lunch at work and maybe dinner time when I'm alone, after my jobs are done at night and during that little bit of free time when I should be sleeping).. can I leave comments on all entries NOT ALL THE TIME ... but I have given my little bit of free time to give what I can because I believe!! I think with just a bit more effort, everyone can do the same to help all of our photographers (including me) working hard at that perfect entry!!!

I just recieved a really inconsiderate and borderline rude comment. I do not expect all comments to be complimentary, in fact constructive critiscism is one of the ways I learn. However this comment simply said that they were tired of viewing these types of images, accused me of creating my image soley as an excuse to get views...etc etc.
I generally appreciate all comments, especially the criticisms, but please, please do not pretend to know why I created an image (which obviously know one really knows but me unless I explain it) and do not give me a low score on my image simply because you do not want to look at a certain type of shot anymore. If you do not want to look at them, don't. It is that simple.
Sheesh! |
