Yeah I saw that...I found another one that's pretty cheap I was just looking to see if another was available near the $300 mark that the previous one was at. Oh well...thanks.

What a dork! Thought it was the 28-75 - duh - that's what I get for speed reading, but do feel that way about the 28-75 XR Di.

I got that lens deal - it just arrived! As soon as it thaws I'll take pics and post.

MAN is it HEAVY! I'll need a truss LOL to use it.

A minolta mount one of these sold on ebay last week for $465. i couldn't find any others. I guess this was not a popular lens?

all the Canon 70-200's are very popular, and it's not hard to find them used.

And the 70-200 2.8L will cost a fortune used...hopefully this lens (I just bought one) will stand up to the few reviews I've found.

Why don't you list it in your profile...when trying to find out what people have what lenses it only shows up that one person has it (Prof_Fate).

As to thread subscription - when viewing a thread at the top of the page just under the menu is a drop down box. if you mark a thread 'watch' it will be listed on your watched thread page - main / home DPC page, button on bottom right of page under currently active threads.
