Sometimes when doing the post processing, I forget whether I'm in a basic editing challenge or a advanced editing challenge...in this case I don't think I used the burn tool correctly for the basic challenge 'candlelight' and [...] should be dq'd. Also, thanks for the comments and for those of you that thinks it's important to actually see the candles...well, I'm sorry but the best I can do is show the original with the candlelight coming from the bottom of the image. Also, there is a candle in the tree. I hope I've learned never to enter a challenge in haste as this was one piece of crap image!! Again, thanks for the comments!

So you are ok is what he's saying - and you should take the image out of your portfolio.

| No way am I taking it out...if not dq'd for post processing, it is a photo of original artwork...can we dq it based on that. |

Sort of. From my understanding you can have original artwork in your piece - you just can't represent original artwork AS your piece. |

| You may not have your photo removed as you have had a DQ within your last 25 challenges. However, you may receive an invitation for a site vacation if you choose to lie about the reasons that your photo should be removed. Just a reminder. |

| you can self SQ if you want to take it out- just don't get another DQ anytime soon or you can be suspended |

| Mark, please take the image out of your portfolio. You're not supposed to reveal your entry on this site during the voting. If your image is disqualified, you would be suspended for having more than one DQ in your last 25 entries. |

1st DQ in last 25 submissions: No penalty
2nd DQ in last 25 submissions: 1 week suspension of submission privileges
3rd DQ in last 25 submissions: 2 week suspension of submission privileges
4th DQ in last 25 submissions: 4 week suspension of submission privileges and 3 months of required "pre-submission" of proof file. |
