Anyone know an easy way to get a running count of the zero comment photos, besides actually counting? It would be nice to track our progress!

Go to the Least commented photos gallery and it is posted on the top right if that is what you are asking.

Right now it reads 1000. But I suspect that is the query results limit they set with mySQL. So there are probably many more!

I don't really understand why images of members that are no longer in the system, and no longer have portfolios, show up--even though they aren't challenge entries. Obviously, thumbnails are kept in a separate table, that's not cleaned up automatically. Or it I wonder if when you stop being a member they simply mark the images as hidden rather than delete them (so they are still there as thumbnails, but not images).

Anyway, it would be nice to get rid of thumbnails that don't succesfully link to images!

Just noticed at the end it reads 1020 but that does not change either. Ow well.
It would be nice if the photo's from people who were no longer memebers had their photo's in a seperated place so we could still see them but were not an annoyance when trying to comment

right now it is at 999. 16 pages of 60 photos and 38 on the last page

I'm in, but can we agree not to leave comments like "nice photo. cheers!"
While it's great to get positive feedback it's not altogether helpful.

With that said please don't cry if everything I say about your photo isn't "nice".

The comment stats are not real time (at least not all of them) so they only update at rollover.

They are coming fster then we are commenting. We went from 999 to 1000.

I don't think its a good idea to leave any kind of negative feedback on a photo that is for sale. Perspective buyers might change their minds if we point out what we see as defaults.

Puma, many of these photos were never in challenges. A lot of people just put them in their portfolios and no one knows they are there unless someone just happens to browse the portfolio.

I will do more later. This was a great idea.

Welcome :) I've been cheating a bit. Been going to portfolios of folks who are also making comments for this project and commenting on their no-comment photos.
