Victory!

I had sex on a ferris wheel. Did I really need to share that with you people?

lol - I can just visualize the ferris wheel going around and every time your car reaches the bottom the operator of the ride getting an eye full.

I don't imagine the people in the next basket were looking off into the horizon.

nsbca7 - being from Alabama you gotta have more than just your dynamite tales to share!

I hitchhiked the U.S. for 6 months in 96-97..

Did some things I probably shouldn't have, and others I'll never forget... almost froze to death in Las Vegas in January sleeping under an overpass, and cooked myself to a red-lobster broil in Louisiana in March. Went through 33 states over that time, met some good people, and got scared shitless by some potentially bad.. but nothing more dangerous than offers for sex happened, and I suppose I got off extremely lucky on that.

Something to tell the grand-nieces and nephews.

Oh yea. Most of the ones from my youth are less then legal and I'm really a little cloudy on statute of limitations in US and state civil and criminal law.

come on folks - I know we have more trouble makers than this on DPC. Fess up and tell us your crazy incidents.

Crashed my fathers motorcycle hard while warming up the engine -total loss-, simply didn't brake for a roundabout and still tried to make it at 60mph at 1 degree celcius on a wet road..
Crashed a 50cc scooter into a 9ft ditch at 75km/h (diesel spillage on the road).
Almost broke my two middle upper teeth while pogoing on surf music, someone else walks around with an imprint of my teeth in his forehead.
Accidentily told my dog (35kg Bouvier des Flandres) to fetch a stick and it jumped of a 15ft bridge (one broken tooth and a bit dizzy), I almost jumped after him to try and break my own legs (that's how bad I felt about it).
At a concert -being pretty wasted- poured beer into someones neck from a balcony and when he looked up closed my zipper....
Almost froze and got a heart attack when I jumped into a small creek in the Alta Fjord in northern Norway. 100% pure cold melting water.... When you come out of a sauna and jump into the open hole in the ice you know what to expect, but when you don't expect it. :(

then there was the time we had another bonfire at a friends house and after way too many drinks decided to clean out the garage of old spray paint cans by tossing them in the fire. The next monring, we saw the result of the exploding spray cans - the back of the house was multi-colored.

ah, and the joys of going through the hot teen years near a cemetery.... went all the way with a guy right on top some poor souls grave. You guessed it....we were wasted. The 70's were such great party years.

I have a feeling you and I would have been very good friends in High School :) (been there, done that kinda thing!)

When I was 16 me and a group of friends went to an indoor Bad Co. concert. Most of my friends stopped of at the liquor store or saved their money for weed. My friend Ted and I went and found some really clean white blotter, so we weren't inclined to drink. My friend Mike (at 16 he was 6' 4", 280lbs with a giant blond afro) bought 2 pints of slow gin and drank them down fast. there was a large group of people in the row in front of us. The guy sitting in front of Mike had this long, down to his ass, straight, silky blond hair that turned a slow gin shade of purple when Mike vomited on his head.

It was quite a colorful visual for me and Ted.

Duhuhuhuhuh. But you are right, that concert was when KC was already two years gone or so. Ok, I looked like KC from around the time when he did the unplugged stuff.

When I was 16 I got on top of a moving car(somewhere between 20 and 30mph). Up a hill and the driver swerved. I fell/jumped to avoid the tires. Slid about 15 feet on my face only. Shattered both jaw socket balls and broke in half at chin. Completely sober by the way. I had by jaw wired shut for about 6 weeks. Stupid or crazy?

edit: typos

I lucked out when I took my ride on the hood of a moving car - fell off and got a bad case of road rash was all. Being that I was not sober, I didn't even notice the road rash until the next day.

Still waiting for the other DPC angels t fess up here by the way......

In 1974 I hitchhiked from Wisconsin to California with 2 girl friends. It turned out to be an incredible adventure and a great way to see the country. Too bad there weren't digital cameras back then. I remember one ride kept telling us stories about a hitchhiker that disappeared in the area. That was a little spooky. Nixon resigned while we were in Missoula, Montana! Hey, maybe if I hitchhike back to Wisconsin now Dubaya will resign.

Sounds like a fun road trip. I would have been one of those who would pick up a hitchhiker and tell scary stories of past riders too. lol

That's a nice profile picture you have!

I guess the trip was the kind of thing you do when you are young.

hmmm, what else did I do that was crazy? ........

I dove into our 4 ft pool from the garage roof once - dang near broke my neck and gave myself a terrible headache.

when I was in the Air Force my roomamate and I threw a toga party at our barracks. One of the sargeants that lived in the barracks joined in the fun and got so plastered he passed out. So, what did me and my roomy do? We stripped him down and tied him to a tree out front. lol We never did get caught thank goodness or we would have been in huge trouble.

Ok - now it's time for others to post - J.P.? scalvert? all our SC members?
