Yesterday the late sun was just blazing through this red, blastic bucket filled with rainwater ice, on my deck, see? And, like, I snapped 3 shots, see? One inside, one detail, one of the whole bucket, know what I mean? And these were really lame images, I have to tell you. So I've submitted my "gauntlet" image, understand? And I'm not feeling fulfilled, see, I need more 'shopping, so... I took bucket one (the interior) and pasted bucket two (the mid-shot) onto that, and pasted bucket 3 (the overall) onto that, dropping everything-but-bucket out of the latter two, see? And this is like, RED ya know? I mean, hue/sat doesn't change a thing, it's saturated to the max right out of the box. And ugly too :-)

So then I make a threshold mask of this, and layer it on top, see, and set my blend mode to luminance, and fade to 45%, and this is what I get:

Is that a waste of time or what? Back to your regular programming now :-)

R.

One day you will figure out a use for what you learned - and forget where you learned it. ;)
