Then I got an email from another photographer from Stephenville telling me had the POTD in March with this shot. He does some really great work.

LOL Owen, when my photo of my niece was on Kodak it was shown on "Here and Now" (my niece's cousin is a reporter at CBC). I remember seeing that photo by Aiden and I wondered where he was from.

Thanks Wendy. I did a quick search and found //www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/ but I don't think the Kodak screen is included. I'll keep searching.

That's the only webcam I could find for Times Square but I couldn't see my photos on the Kodak screen when I had POTDs there. The screen was shown in one of the webcams but the images on the Kodak big screen never seemed to change.

Do you know which of their webcams covers it? I looked but didn't see it. They show a map, but I don't know where the POTD display is in TS.

BTW - David, congratulations to you too!

Go to cam #2 and click on the right arrow to pan right.

Cool. Maybe I should enter more often.

Hey Karen, can you post your POTD shot(s) please?

The Newfoundland Herald has just published the picture that's going to be the Kodak POTD on Dec. 20. They have their dates mixed up a little (see the lower caption) but I won't fault them for that - it's free publicity afterall. I also have an interview this afternoon with the Georgian a local newspaper and I've been on VOCM province wide radio recently. I've never gotten so much publicity from one shot. It's pretty exciting for me to say the least. Hope you don't mind me sharing this with you all.

All great shots Karen. Thanks for posting. You must have an Ottawa connection (I don't mean in a political sense - lol)?

My BF works for a company whos head office is in Ottawa. When he first started working for them we travelled to Ottawa a lot, several times a year for weeks at a time. That has slowed down considerably now and in the past 2 years we've only been there twice.

Well today is David's day! Congratulations again David. I'm going to see if I can catch it on the webcam. (I have seen Camera 1 point that way. Camera 2 doesn't seem to work right.)

Thanks Neil! By the way, if anyone is in Times Square today and could snap a pic for me, Lorna, my model, would be thrilled.

Our local newspaper, The Geogian, just published an article on my business featuring my Dec. 20 Kodak POTD.

My POTD is coming up tomorrow. If anyone happens to be in Time Square tomorrow, with a camera, please think of me. That would be the best birthday present ever. Thanks in advance.

send a PM to Steve Hill (pawdrix). He has offered to snap a photo of Kodak POTDs.

pawdrix@yahoo.com and remind me through this thread tomorrow with a bump.

If all goes well and I don't get swamped, it should be no problem.

Hey Steve,

I appreciate it. I'll email you tomorrow.

Thanks,

Owen

...yeah, yeah, yeah.

Keep in mind that any post production work will cost you extra.

From my own reminder app, I sent a reminder to Nikolai as he requested. But perhaps depending on who it's more convenient for, Steve and Nikolai can work this out to cover everyone.

Mine is Wed, the 21st. I hope you can take several pictures, since the credits show separately. I like how Skiprow made a tryptich out of his! (or was it four?) I did not back and look.

Thanks again. I'll email you both with my real email address!

Congrats, Dave and Neil!

I had one on 11/13, first submission, it did seem as if they sat on it for months. Didn't find anyone to shoot it, but the model was stoked nonetheless.
