I went to try and improve my swan picture taking technique today. I shot at 22 aperature, and between 1/100 -1/300 film speed. I found that most of the pictures seem a little dark (but, that might just be my monitor). Anyway, I lightened this picture a little, but I really think I like the darker picture better.

The one on the right, but it might be to dark on the right side.

There is no need to shoot at f/22, it probably only made the image slightly softer due to diffraction. f/8-f/11 is good enough.
The darker pic looks better, but the composition is off.
Try to fill the frame better, now the right is too empty. Would have been better if the whole view was shifted a bit to the left.
