I need a way to show average people my work - I have done some pet portraiture, senior portraits and weddings, and want to approach some assited living homes about trying a family portrait idea.
If i have some 8x10s to show them I think they'll bite. Right now most are in frames for display on a table at the pet show. I have MyPublisher books of the seniors, and some loose 5x7 and 8x10s.
Should they be album-ized, or loose in a folder, or mounted and then put in a folder...
I need something that i can altar the contents as my portfolio changes/improves/grows, but also need to have the contents apply to the target market - so in this case i'd show people (and people with pet) shots instead of just pure pet shots. For next year i want to do lots of pet work, so that portfolio would be heavy in the pet area and lighgt on seniors and weddings.
Any thought?

Costco had these for $12.99 for 2 books. They said scrapbook on it, but works nice for a cheap portfolio. I got the black leather ones, but they had brown too and had different windows on the front. The 12"x12" pages are interchangeable and have inserts to separate front/back.

I like that...I don't ahve a costco membership, but perhaps i can find something similar at a crafts store or amongst walmarts photo albums.
i am on my out now so i'll add a stop or two to my journey.

I use a hand-made leather bound portfolio (which was a generous gift from my mentor)...... but the handiest thing, I use clear photo mount corners to put pics in (all 8X10s) so I can easily change out the pictures without marring the book's pages.
