Does anybody have any suggestions on a small camera case that will hold a D70s, a 4.7inch lens, and a 3inch lens. I just want the smallest case possible so I dont have to lug around my huge bag when I'm walking around all day like, say on vacation.

Thanks.

Honestly, I picked up a small one from Walmart, just enough to carry a couple of extra lenses and my camera with a few other odds and ends. I've got the "good" bag for when I need it all with me.

I really like my Lowepro Trail 1 when I'm just taking a couple lenses and the camera. It's a modular bag with a belt, so I can strap it on and not worry about it. The lens pockets even have enough room for a spare battery and CF card. I also like the fact I can change lenses without putting my camera, bag and lenses down, since they're belted to me. (I use the pack like a shelf. Here's a link: //www.lowepro.com/Products/Beltpacks/modular/Off_Trail_1.aspx

I have the Tamrac Velocity 7 case. It's a sling type bag where you can access the camera/gear without taking the case off. I really like it on trips to pack the bare essentials. I pack the D70 with 70-300, the extra 18-70 kit, a 50 mm and SB600 flash. I really like the bag for that purpose. JB

First thing I do when I need something like this is visit my local second-hand store. I have found cases/shoulder bags which fit my two cameras almost perfectly (one by Samsonite, one Tamrac) for $1 and $2 respectively. I've also found small handbags/purses/backpacks/fanny packs which serve a variety of equipment-carrying functions -- an old, rigid suitcase for $3 beats one of those aluminum camera cases ...
Your luck may vary ... : )
