I was gonna enter this for the challenge but decided against it. Anyone have any thoughts on how this might have faired?

No, I understand that. It's just that I'm starting to believe that these threads seeking comments on images-not-entered have a certain effect on how voters who read them judge images that actually ARE entered. If a consensus should develop, for example, that this shot is "brilliant" and woudl have ribboned, then those who see that developing consensus may have a hard time disregarding it when voting on similarly-presented images. Ditto if it gets panned, whatever.

I think this is true. I also left a comment, not knowing it wouldn't be seen here, I clicked on the photo and left comment there. HOWEVER, had that comment been on here, it can and may have effected how others vote on photos presently entered - that is, if they give my words any credence...LOL. In that case, I bet you have nothing much to worry about there. LOL...

It's better than a lot I've seen there. I would have given it a 6 at least.
