Right now, on the DPC home page, there are only 10 "recent threads" showing at any given time. I think that amount was fine...a year or two ago...but with so many people actively participating, I think it would be a good idea to expand the initial list to 20 or 30. Most people these days want information quick and don't want to go an extra page deep to look at threads (although there are always exceptions). It's just a thought. Now a days, a "recent thread" is taken off after 25 minutes...there are just too many people posting threads. Any one agree with me?

i agree. Perhaps it could be an option on your preferences page, like showing or not the rant forum threads.

you can adjust however many recent threads you want there to be shown. just go to your preferences page and change the number of recent threads. I have mine on 20.

exactly...I would be fine with that being an option...you could select 20, 30, 40...100 threads at at time. I think they keep it relatively short so visitors can see the links at the bottom of the page (maybe).

Click on Communtity on the top bar and you get all the threads of the past 24 hours.
This may explain why people bump a thread before a couple minutes off the top 10.
