Great - I just changed my entry. Prediction: top 400. Had I not changed I would have been a shoe-in for blue.

I'm with you on that one - I held onto what could have been an average raiser for Landscape for weeks and yesterday I junked it and put it in my portfolio (effectively eliminating it) for another shot entirely - and now I have versions 1-10 saved and I keep jumping between them. ARG! Enough already, roll it!

I've been reviewing my entry on two different computers for the past couple of days. Something wasn't quite right so I tweaked it a bit more and uploaded a new copy of the same image.

I'm with alfresco, top 400 with a score around 5 or just below if any of my past few entries are an indication. Optimistic? Never.

Ugh! Alfresco reminded me... when I submitted my entry a couple weeks ago, I promised myself I would edit it again from scratch before the challenge started because I was tired the night I edited it. Just did a total re-do from the original and NOW its a winner! Thanks, JP!

I suggested at some point in the past (or seconded it, can't remember now) to extend the voting period. Now, I'm not sure I'll be able to wait until next Thursday to find out if I'm going to reach the top of my profile page.

I know that I will spend some considerable time tonight voting on ALL images before checking my score. I disabled that option in my profile just in case I get anxious.

I'll comment some tonight, but most likely get back to it over the weekend.

Good luck with your first free study, Lisa. You're sure to see (perhaps have) some wonderful photography.

JP, you still have 100 minutes, you could try a reshoot *giggles* ;)

Geez, so much anticipation. It's hard knowing that hundreds of dreams will be dashed in the wee hours of the night by the ubiquitously cruel and uncaring 4.

What's going wrong, Rikki? The gorgeous model won't be still? :) Atleast you're not shooting with a Nikon!

my first free study too.
I'm entry number 479.
I had a whole month to shoot and I wait until there are only five hours left before I start.
Why do I do it to myself!!!!

I think I'm in .. first free study for me .. but the pic I decided on kept screaming at me ... hardly any editing but I think it will at least be a high 5 *bites nails*

I'm freaked. I am torn between 2 photos though. This is gonna be great. I can't wait to see everyones best.

I was totally torn too Kelly. The only thing that made my decision was the hope there will be a Best of 2005 challenge.

Hmmmm - and now 62 minutes. I heard someone suggest a nudie SP for the free study ... hmmmmm ... hmmmmm ... daring ... over to the top ... hmmmm ... 61 minutes ... naaahhhhhh. Although the title would have been "Doctor My Eyes ... "

Yes. Put the image in your portfolio on hide for the duration of the challenge to preserve anonymity.

Thanks, I deleted it from my profile, I didnt know there was a hiding option... that was one picture I had a nice comment and now its gone :( ...
