Oooooh! This sounds cool!
=)
I don't get off work until 4:30 and am an hour away...and just got back from an extended weekend trip...but, I'd love to get there if I can!

You can never be "too late" and if you are you've got the perfect shot for the next challenge ;)

I wont be able to get there before 6:00 myself. So hopefully I'll see you there if not today evening maybe Saturday!

I would but I'm not overly fond of crowds. Don't know if it's my old age or what but the holiday season just drives me bonkers with all the crowds.

I'm spying from work...

You may want to double check the date. From the link you posted it looks like activities are tomorrow (12/1) to Sunday, 12/4. Unless I'm missing something...??

I may like to go. Dave and I'll be in Ithaca Friday evening anyway so maybe I could combine it then.

Ice sculpture exhibit starts tomorrow evening but they can be seen sculpting today evening, thats what some representative from Commons was saying this morning on radio (97.3FM) and its open for public I don't know where it is though, I am hoping its right at the Commons.

@Deannda since its not really the exhibit today evening, I am hoping it wont be crowded, but u never know Commons is usually crowded all the time.

Okay, thanks. I probably won't make it tonight but I'll think about it for Friday evening or possibly Saturday. I can let you know what we decide in case you'd like to join us.

I might be able to make it sometime tomorrow or Friday. Sounds like it would be pretty cool.

Gary, Dave and I are going to the CSMA exhibit opening Friday evening (about 5:30?). If you can't join vikas, maybe you'd like to go Friday and join us at the exhibit and see what you're missing. ;-) Then we could go to the ice sculptures afterwards?

Vinnie and I may head to Cascadilla on Saturday. I'll let you know more about that too.

Friday night may be a possibility. Let me know. I'll be in Lancaster, PA this weekend though, so Sat. is out for me :(

I'm not going to make it tonight...no stamina left.
Friday night is photo club and I'm not sure I want to skip it, but I sure would like to meet up again! We have so much fun on our outings!
Will have to cogitate on this one.

Gary, sounds good. Going to Amish country, huh? I went last year. Bring your camera! Some nice covered bridges there. :-)

KaDi, no problem. I hate missing club meetings too. Let us know what you decide.

I just emailed Dave with this link so he'll probably check in later tonight.

Vikas - If we go on Friday I hope you'll consider going again to join us.

I'll try to be at the exhibit but I won't be able to get there before 6:30pm on friday. By what time are you planning to leave for the Commons? If i dont catch you at the CSMA exhibit I will meet you at Commons directly.

edit : I didnt go to the commons today evening myself

Vikas - Dave and I will probably be at CSMA at 6:00ish. I don't think it will take too long to look around the exhibit. We can go to the Commons directly after...? It will be well lit there, correct? I
11/30/2005 11:43:30 PM · #15
I am hoping it should be well lit, not sure though, they are going to light up the sculptures.

I will skip the CSMA thing and meet you directly at Commons or somewhere else that works out for all of us.

Thanks. I'll PM you mine. I'd rather not post it on the board. :-)

CSMA is at 330 East State Street...which is directly east of the Commons.

Got it. You can take it off now! 6:30 sounds great. If we aren't outside by the front door, we'll be inside.

Jen, I got hit by a racquet-ball on the right eye yesterday, I can barely see with that eye as its swollen and have some cuts over it. I won't be able to make it tonight, sorry for canceling at the last moment.
12/02/2005 10:53:58 AM · #23
You're left eye still works, doesn't it? Seriously, though, sorry to hear about that. I hope it's not too serious and that you recover quickly.

Vikas, so sorry to hear about your eye! That's gotta hurt! :-( I'm sure we'll meet up again another time. You could always join us at camera club if you'd like... Membership is $25/year.
