For those of you that have a wacom tablet, how often do you use the touch strip and/or express keys?

I got hold of an old Wacom graphire (original) at work, and it doesn't have them, but I don't really feel like I am missing anything.

However, I am getting ready to purchase one for home and, being left handed, I was looking at the Intuos3 6x8 since it has keys/strip on both sides. But, as usual, dollars count, so I was wondering if I had the keys/strip, would I even use them?

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I have the graphire. I'm getting the intuos specifically for the touch keys so I'd say yes, you'd use them. I know I miss them. It depends on how fast you want to work. If you dont mind being tethered to the keyboard, get the graphire.

i have a new intous, don't use the strip or the keys. But the new design has a nice sloping edge that i think is much more comfortable than previous models.

Well, with one vote for, and one vote against the keys, it was still a tough decision. Thanks for pointing out the sloping edge being more comfortable.

But, I went ahead and ordered an Intuos3 6x8 (even the size was a tough decision...wondered if I would be more comfortable with 4x5).

But, what the heck...it's only money!

Thanks for the feedback, guys.

If ya don't like it, I'll trade ya for the graphire. ;)
