I am trying to resize some pics to load into my portfolio but i'm not at my computer and i don't know what programme i can use.The only image programme i can find is paint. Anyone got any advice? Thanks in advance

GIMP is a free program you can download.

the computer doesn't allow any downloading (at university) thanks though

It's not the best way and I find paint system a pain in the butt. If you are using XP you can select all the photo's you want to upload, then send to, and choose mail recipient and choose make all pictures smaller. You can then save it as a draft, or send it to yourself. Then you will have all photo's reduced in size and able to post them. This is not the greatest, but it will allow you to resize smaller, then save the new attachments and then upload to post them.

You could try this online photo editor. I've never tried it so I can't vouch, just saw the link recently.

thanks that sounds like a great option, does anyone know whether one have to be a member to use it and if not how to upload an image?

Click on "load image editor," browse to find your file, "apply" to upload it.
