Does anyone have a Lensbaby? What do you think of it? Is it the Original or the new 2.0? Does anyone know if the new 2.0 is a great enough improvement that it's worth the extra $54? Thanks!

Supposedly the 2nd generation is sharper. F2 vs F2.8 is a decent difference. It will enhance the effect of the lens. I hope to get one within the next month.

I have the original. A friend has the 2.0. Part of it is it is easier to change out the apertures. I haven't used it much but it is fun to play with. I wish I would dig it out more often. Maybe I will need to use it for an upcoming challenge.

What do you mean by "change out the apertures?" Does that require additional equipment?

I have the new one. It comes with a little tool to take out the appeture ring and replace it with a different size. I think it comes with 3 additional sizes.

The Lensbabies come with a set of physical aperture rings which you can place inside the lens to increase the f-stop, along with a little hook & lenspen for removing them again. I bought a lensbaby 2.0 for chiqui a few months ago, and it's great fun to use... when she lets me ;o)
