So how many of an item makes a collection? 2? 10? 25? |

It can be as little as one if its a one of a kind.

for this challenge i selected my favorite two items from my particular collection...we'll see what happens!
when i vote, i don't plan to be too concerned about number of items displayed...if that's any help.

I've seen shots with one object that I feel displays a 'collection' and I've seen shots with a whole pile of objects that just looks like a mess. In my opinion, a submission would get a higher score from me if it looks like there's good focus on one thing that represents the rest of the collection, even if it's the same as everything else, or even if everything else is different. I've seen way too many shots that just look like someone dumped a drawer onto a piece of solid-colored cloth and took a picture of it.
Of course, there's a few exceptions to this, but I just feel like too many people took 'collections' too literally and just shot a picture of a pile of stuff. Then again, this is the first challenge I've entered and I'm just being nitpicky in comparing other people's interpretations to my own...

Collection
Personally, it has to be more than one for me. I don't consider a "collector's item" a collection. |
