How can I move Photoshop actions from one copy to another. I know there must be a way, I certainly don't want to have to redo all of them.

As in copy to another computer? Drag the entire actions folder to a CD, then drag the contents of it to the actions folder on the new machine. Or you can use a memory card if you have a card reader/writer.

Yes, to another computer. I wasn't sure if that was the way to do it. This is going to not just copy the ones I want to copy, but also delete any that aren't on the 1st copy, right?

No. You copy the FOLDER from the first machine, but copy the CONTENTS of the folder to the second machine, where a folder already exists. So what'll happen is any duplicated entries will overwrite, and any new ones will just write in, while any installed by PS that may have gotten deleted from your original folder will remain in the new folder. You may, of couyrse, copy the entire FOLDER to the new machine. replacing the newly-installed, default folder entirely, if you're sure everyhting you want's in the old folder.
The main point is, however you organize it's a drag 'n drop operation; there's no executables, nothing that has to be "installed". But when you open the new PS on the new machine, none of the actions except PS default actions will show up in the drop-down list until you open the flyout list (right arrow upper right) and individually select them from the stored list to activate them.

Ok, well here's the problem then. Both folders contain the same exact files, so the only option is to replace files. The folder I am looking at is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Photoshop Actions. Is this the right one?

Ok, I copied the folder anyway and I'm not seeing the actions. What am I doing wrong?

See my post a few minutes ago. Use the right arrow to get the flyout menu in actions pallette and activate 'em one by one.

I think I figured it out. I assumed that my actions were saved since they were there every time PS loaded, but I see now that I need to save an .atn file to transfer.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys!
