Okay, I normaly shoot quite dark but this guy was under a canopy and I was playing around with the appature when he turned and faced me.

I couldn't let the moment go since the look was so right but, as you can see, it's not 'dark' at all. I've brought the shadows out more with curves but there's not the detail in the shot which I usually like to have.

Now here's my prediciment, am I unhappy with this shot because it's not what I'm used to or is it 'too' over exposed? Yes I know that it is over exposed but that's part of what I think makes it a little bit.

I'm really just after someone else' input. Thanks a million.

I completely dig this picture. His look, even the blown out bits.. but what really makes this great to me is the detail of what the book says.. coupled with his look!!

Great moment and hella fun image!!

I think it kind of looks cool. I would have thjought the OE was done on purpose.

If you like the picture, than you have done everything right. Sometimes the best shots we take are the ones we took by mistake :)

Thanks for all the input.

I've made it sepia and I'm a little happier with it. Would anyone care to tell me which looks better in their eyes?
