Buy.com has the Kingston Elite Pro 1GB CF for $45.51 after rebate. I already have an Sandisk Ultra II 1GB and I want something extra because I often run out of space shooing RAW. I don't shoot sports, and I wonder if anyone feels that I should still avoid the Kingston even at this price? Or if you know of a better deal?

I've got that card, Neil. I bought it a few months ago from Buy.com too. I'm not sure it's any faster than my regular Sandisk, but it's working and I don't really need the speed as I don't shoot in burst much. It's a great deal and I think you should get it! The only probably I had was with the rebate...they said I didn't send a copy of my receipt and I did send it. I'm going to try making another copy and arguing it. Makes me mad... :-/

| Kingston Elite Pro cards perform well, and that's a good price with or without the rebate. |
