My wife and I just got back from our annual Thanksgiving trip to Moab. We had some great weather and I was able to get a couple good photos.

Thanks for looking,
John

You're so lucky to go there often. Love the picture with the old truck!

These are both great! I love that area and go there with some frequency. But you're supposed to contact me so I can go with you!

You guys ever put together an Arches/Moab or something like that "field trip", let me know. I might be able to make it, maybe.

Very nice John! Some day I need to find an excuse to head on over to Moab. So close, and yet I've never been there!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comments, I have to say Moab is a wonderful place. My jaw drops every time I get near Arches.

I would like to plan a GTG to Moab, I'm sure we could have a great time. We will be going back around Christmas.

Like I said, if you ever do put a Moab GTG, please let me know. I don't know if I could make it, but I sure would try.

A Moab gtg would be awesome, I would definitely go if at all possible.

Ironically I was JUST looking at Moab with Google Earth. I really want to go there someday!

Love the pictures, especially the truck one! Out of curiosity, did you do a bit of "shadows" adjustment on those? Something seemed a little odd to me in the shots, and I'm wondering if it might be an aggressive removal of shadow areas...?

I think I got carried away with Fisher Towers, the shadows were really dark on that one. I just got a monitor calibration tools and it didn't show up until after I calibrated.

I have to say Moab is one of the most wonderful places I have ever been. Arches is one of the best parks we have here in the US.

I'll be going to Moab for the winter solstice. I went there a year ago.

Sorry, image is kinda small...

Nice picture, left you a comment Brent.
End of the Road has picked up 8 comments and 3 favs. Gee, hope I picked the right photo for the Free Study. (holds head in hands)

No, I think my entry is pretty strong. But that is where I go wrong. On my last picture I was hovering over the unsubmit button right up to when the challenge started and it got a 4th. What do I know.

The old truck picture would have scored really well. I would still vote high and just forget your name.

(...covering eyes...turning head...)

LOL, that's great. What I'm really wishing is I would have saved it for the Best of 2005 challenge, hopefully we'll have one. It's to late to turn back anyway. Hell the number of favs and number of comments means more to me anyway, and I thank everyone for those.
