I wonder what are the major differences between Nikon D100 and Nikon D70?
I bought my D70 a few months ago and I cannot say I was disappointed. Very well built camera.
I just wonder if it would be worth to replace the D70 by the D100? I heard that the D70 was more advanced than the D100 but I could not figue out why the D100 is still more expensive.
Thanks for letting me know

d70 is better in pretty much every way except the build quality.
d100 is all but replaced now, the d200 is coming out. |

The D100 is a much older camera, thus has a higher cost for its performance level. It is about to be replaced with the D200 which is a superior camera both to the D100 and to the D70. |

The only way I would get a d100 was if I could find one used for a good deal...they're more sturdy than the d70, but the d70 is much more advanced. I wouldn't mind having a d100 as a backup or where technology doesn't matter as much (such as AF-C where the camera tracks the subject and so on)...

AF-C is available on the D100 and D70... didn't know if you were aware of that or not. On the D100, it's a switch on the front of the camera... it's a menu item on the D70. |

Here's a great site for the comparison of any cameras //www.dpreview.com/reviews/sidebyside.asp.
You can select any number from their list of reviews and look at all of the specs and features side-b-side. It's a godsend.
