I lost the lens cap for my tamrom 28-75mm over thanksgiving. Prob put it down somewhere and walked away. The good thing is that i can get them online on ebay relatively cheap, but I dont know the size the cap is... anyone out there know what size the lens cap for the 28-75 would be? I tried searching for it but cant find it... thanks!

What's the filter size for the lens? That's the cap size as well.

so it would be 67mm?

can someone confirm? Just want to make sure I get the right size lens cap :-)

according to bhphoto yeah 67mm is correct.

Same lens for Nikon. Check accessories.

I was waiting for other replies so you would have your confirmation but this is generally the case for all lenses. The size of the cap is usually marked on the inside.

Doesn't the lens have the size printed on it? Just curious.

Nah, the lens does not have the size, it is the cap that has it, but he lost the darn cap!
Nico, check the B&H link - if it looks like your lens then 67mm it is.

i am going to order a new 67mm lens cap tomorrow morning. really appreicate the help!

Actually, filter.cap diameter is printed on all my lenses; on the lens barrel on the Tamron 28-75 and the Canon 60 macro and 70-200, and on the front of the lens (hidden by the lens cap) on the 10-22mm... This is pretty normal for all lenses.
