Falling in a mill pond is no fun. Falling in a mill pond when it's only 40something degrees out is really no fun. Falling in a mill pond when it's only 40something degrees out, AND getting bit by this evil creature .. well, that could only happen to me. At least my camera didn't fall in, and I got some good pictures out of it.

Swans sure can be nasty, can't they? Worse than geese, though only by a small margin.
Glad to here your cam stayed dry!

My lense hood fell into the pond, so I'd put my camera down while I tried to get it back. I lost my ballance... Lucky for me I had some dry clothes in my car. I was trying to get a good picture of this beautiful duck
Wherever I went those swans followed. Wherever the swans went the ducks went elsewhere. |
