You know how the info view shows a blinking warning where there are blown highlights on the photo? Is there something that does this in Photoshop? I want to see when I adjust the levels if I am creating any blown out spots.

Thanks,
Eric

Hold down the ALT key while dragging the right arrow (underneath the Levels histogram) and you can watch as the various colors become blown.

Similarly, hold down ALT while moving the left arrow to watch which colors go dark.

Also, if you're using CS2 or CS, keep the histogram window visible while making adjustments, and turn on the option to display the individual channel histograms. Watch for the histogram to approach the limits, and avoid creating a large "spike" right at either end.

in Raw Shooter Premium the feature is available.
i think it is also the CTRL key.

edit - E seems to be correct - though i swear i had it color coding the clipped pixels the other day... by channel & not by light and dark.

In RSE actually, hold ctrl and blown areas will show red, 0-value areas blue.
